This year Lloyd’s Cabinet Shop invites you to join us in feeding those in our community who are struggling by donating non-perishable food items as part of the 2011 Lloyd’s Cabinet Shop Holiday Food Drive!
In 2010 the Pinconning Area Emergency Food Pantry provided direct food assistance to over 225 families.
Every $10 worth of food donated will help feed a family of 4 for approximately two days.
Items will be collected in our showroom (directions here) from Friday, November 11th through Friday, December 16th, 2011.
Stop by the office with your donation today and receive a FREE reusable Lloyd’s Cabinet Shop tote bag! Thank you for your consideration and help.
More on the Pinconning Area Emergency Food Pantry can be found below:
The Food Panty has been serving residents of Northern Bay County for well over 25 years and is the established distribution point for emergency assistance programs for residents of Northern Bay County. It has collaborative relationships with all non-profit agencies and organizations in Bay County.
Northern Bay County has seen significant increases in unemployment, and hundreds of families in our community are struggling to pay their bills. The unemployed, working poor and many considered middle class continue facing job loss, reduced work hours, while the costs of utilities and food and other necessities have been steadily increasing.
Each and every day the Pinconning Area Emergency Food Pantry responds to the essential needs of those who struggle to maintain a minimum quality of life. It is critical that we continue to reach out and provide the safety net of programs and services our community depends on.
The Food Pantry is a volunteer-driven, 501 (3) (c) organization that has no paid staff and minimal operation costs. Approximately 99% of all donations are returned to the community in direct services to families.
